RPL commenced its operations in 1971 for manufacturing Alkyd Resins, Acrylic Resins, Epoxy Resins, Ketonic Resins, Maleic Resins , Melamine formaldehyde Resins, Organic Compound, Polyster Resins, Polymides Resins, Phenolic Resins and Urea formaldehyde Resins some of which are import substitutes. The Company’s manufacturing facilities are located at MIDC, Taloja in Maharashtra and GIDC, Ankleshwar in Gujarat, both of which are in close proximity to shipping ports. RPL's strength lies in its manufacturing and strong distribution network that spans across India. It has its own sales offices and branches across the country and also deals through some major distributors across different regions. The Promoters of RPL namely the Choksi’s, Dani’s and Vakil’s are the same as those of India’s leading Paints Manufacturer, Asian Paints Limited. RPL believes in leveraging technology to achieve competitive advantage. We are currently using Microsoft ERP system for Demand projection & Sales forecasting & are in the process of migrating to the Dynamics-365 ERP version for better accuracy.

Over the years, RPL has also established itself as a noteworthy exporter of synthetic resins to the Coatings and Printing Ink manufacturers of the neighbouring countries. In the coming years, we are focusing on expanding our wings further across Africa, Middle East and South East Asian countries.
